Mary E. Gillick

September 18, 1924 - August 31, 2020

Mary E. (Connell) Gillick was born on September 18, 1924 in The Bronx and passed away on Monday August 31, 2020. Mary married her beloved husband William (Bill) and started their family of nine children in St. Jerome’s Parish. In 1954 they moved to Cortlandt Manor, where they became active members of the St. Columbanus Parish. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend to all, volunteer and community leader. Mary was predeceased by her husband, parents and her brother George. She is survived by nine children, Anne Marie Sniffen (Michael); Mary Theresa; Maureen Mulroy (Michael); Irene; Ruth Butler (William); Joan Galanin (William); Margaret Roche (Donald); William (Maureen) and Robert as well as sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Columbanus Church, on Friday September 4, 10:30 AM followed by a private interment. Visiting at Dorsey – Carlone Funeral Home, 1100 Cortlandt St. Peekskill on Thursday September 3, from 3 – 7 PM.
