Kathleen G. Di Michele

December 17, 1957 - January 28, 2021

Kathleen G. DiMichele of Cortlandt Manor, NY passed peacefully away at the age of 63 on January 28, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. The daughter of Lawrence and Genevieve Kosilla (deceased) was born on December 17, 1957, raised in the Tarrytowns and graduated from Sleepy Hollow High School in 1975. Kathy married the love of her life, Michael, in North Tarrytown on May 21, 1978. For 43 years Kathy worked in the healthcare field as a nurse. She retired from Caremount Medical Group in December 2017. Kathy was full of life with a vibrant personality. She was a great athlete who loved playing softball. She also enjoyed traveling, RVing, days at the beach, crocheting and family dinners. Kathy especially enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends. Kathy is survived by her loving husband Michael. She was a devoted mother who is also survived by her children, Christopher Di Michele (Andrea) and Kathleen York (Michael); she was also an adoring grandmother to Ashley, Nick, Abby, Julia, Austin and John. Her brothers, Lawrence Jr. and Neil Kosilla as well as many loving brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews also survive. She is predeceased by her sister Genevieve Gray. Family and friends will honor Kathy’s life at a gathering on Wednesday February 3, 2021 from 4-8pm at Dorsey-Carlone Funeral Home 1100 Cortlandt St. Peekskill, NY. A funeral mass will be on February 4, 2021 at 10am at St. Columbanus Church.
